TULSA, Okla. — Once a thriving hub of Black excellence, Tulsa’s Greenwood District will again hum with energy as over 10,000 people gather for the 5th annual Black Wall Street Legacy Fest on Saturday, May 31, 2025. This free public event and celebration of food, music, and dialogue pays tribute to the victims, survivors and descendants of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre and showcases Greenwood’s unyielding spirit.
Kicking off the summer season, the Black Wall Street Legacy Fest has solidified its place as a premier Tulsa event that honors history while driving economic growth. Featuring national performers and speakers, the festival focuses on celebrating the Greenwood District’s legacy, supporting Black-owned businesses, and educating attendees about the rich history of Black Wall Street. It’s a unique celebration of resilience, culture, and progress.
