GREENWOOD, Dist. – The Greenwood community is pleased to announce the 4th Annual Black Wall Street Legacy Festival spanning from May 25 to June 1, 2024, in the Historic Greenwood District on Greenwood Avenue in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Grammy Award-winning artist Anthony Hamilton as this year’s headliner.
This electrifying event promises to be a powerful tribute to the lives and legacies of Greenwood, honoring the indomitable spirit of those affected by the tragic events of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
Notably, this year’s festival will fall on the actual anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, where organizers will host a remembrance ceremony during the concert to honor the survivors and the lives lost and offer hope for the future.
In addition, the upcoming festival will feature an array of attractions for all ages, spanning from savory food trucks to vibrant art exhibitions, business vendors, town halls and more. This family-oriented occasion will also include pony rides, face painting, inflatables for kids of all ages to enjoy.

“As we embark upon the resurgence of Black Wall Street through economic development, technology, and the arts, we believe it’s important to center and highlight the hard work and contributions of the everyday community members who work, live, and worship, in the historic Greenwood District. The festival is our love letter to the community and our ancestors that simply says we honor you, and we will never forget.”
Dr. Tiffany Crutcher, Tulsa Race Massacre descendant and Executive Director of the Terence Crutcher Foundation
Moreover, the event welcomes everyone with free admission yet offers a paid option for preferred seating. Proceeds will go towards funding future festivals and the revitalization of the North Pointe Shopping Center located on the North West boundary of the Historic Greenwood District.
