GREENWOOD Dist. — CLLCTVE, Inc., a leading platform connecting talent to opportunity, continues to make strides in revolutionizing talent management with the appointment of Randon Young as the new Managing Director of Workforce Innovation. With over a decade of experience in human resources and recruiting for companies such as Visa and Robert Half, Young brings a wealth of expertise to his role, amplifying CLLCTVE’s commitment to developing the next-generation workforce in Tulsa and beyond.

Kelsey Davis, the pioneering founder of CLLCTVE, originally embarked on her journey to Tulsa in February 2022. Her relocation was made through the ACT House accelerator program and Tulsa Remote initiative, following her successful tenure at Techstars LA, being honored as Forbes 30 Under 30, and securing $500,000 in angel investments from prominent investors like NBA All-Star Baron Davis and Gaingels.

With a passion for empowering talent and a commitment to disrupting the status quo, Davis made the bold decision to leave the West Coast behind and set her sights on the heart of middle America — where she then met fellow Tulsa Remoter, Randon Young, who just so happened to also relocate from Los Angeles as a proven Talent Acquisition expert.

“For too long, talent has been confined to the coasts, leaving vast untapped potential in the heartland of our country,” says Young. “I believe that talent knows no zip code, and by focusing on a place like Tulsa, we can unlock opportunities for individuals in the Heartland region who have been overlooked for far too long. This is not just about talent management; it’s about empowering individuals and communities to thrive no matter where they live”.

One example of how this mission is operationalized is through their recent collaboration with the OWN Network on the highly anticipated television show, ‘Rebuilding Black Wall Street, where they sourced local Production Assistants for the series. This work is not only happening in Tulsa, but cities across America.

For Chime’s 2023 Changemakers Social Impact Campaign, CLLCTVE worked alongside their team to identify and onboard local talent on the southside of Chicago for a national campaign taking place in their own neighborhood. By leveraging their technology and proximity to talent, CLLCTVE is not only expanding opportunities for middle-America talent but also making the talent sourcing process more inclusive for employers than ever before.

Alongside Young’s appointment, CLLCTVE is excited to announce the launch of its ‘Talent Talks’ series, aimed at fostering honest conversations about the job economy and empowering individuals to identify opportunities aligned with their talents. Starting this Spring, this in-person event will serve as a platform for insightful discussions on standing out in the job market and identifying jobs that match individual skill sets.

Through initiatives like these, CLLCTVE is not only revolutionizing talent management but also expanding opportunities for local talent to connect with global brands. By focusing on developing the next-generation workforce in untapped markets, CLLCTVE is paving the way for a brighter future for middle-America talent.

Davis believes the creative industry has been fragmented for far too long. “Creators struggle to find paid gigs and meaningful collaborations, while businesses waste valuable time searching for the right talent. This disconnect results in missed opportunities, lost revenue, and a stifled creative landscape”, says Davis. “Our priority is to foster a more inclusive and equitable workforce—one where opportunity is within reach for all. Tulsa’s rich history and vibrant community make it the perfect backdrop for this mission”.

Both Davis and Young share a deep commitment to empowering underrepresented voices in the tech and creative industries. As Black business leaders, their relocation to Tulsa is not just about personal growth but about contributing to the revitalization of a historic community and paving the way for a brighter future for all.
