Jackie Aina and her fiancé, Denis Asamoah, are expanding their brand, FORVR Mood, to include fragrances. Aina, who started on YouTube in 2009, built a following by creating beauty content. With a focus on beauty, her audience may have thought she’d come out with her own makeup line, especially since Aina has multiple makeup partnerships under her belt. Instead, FORVR Mood launched in August 2020.
The affordable luxury brand debuted candles as its first product. Over time, it has expanded to offer other products, including a candle care set, a silk headband, a silk pillowcase, and a FORVR Mood-branded sun visor.
Customers gave them helpful feedback about everything from their experience with the candles to shipping times. In 2023, the couple accepted the feedback in stride and made improvements across the board, serving as another example of the duo’s commitment to providing stellar products.
Among the improvements were faster shipping, the quality of the formula, an optimized wax blend, and reduced soot when burning the candles. It goes a long way with consumers when their concerns are valued, which allows them to keep supporting the creators they love.
FORVR Mood’s Fragrances offers a scent for every mood.
FORVR Mood has four scents: NDA, I Am Her, Hard To Get, and You Remind Me. The offerings are cruelty-free, long-wearing, vegan, and layerable. The scents range from warm and spicy, to floral and fresh.
It can be challenging to buy perfume online. However, FORVR Mood is making the task more seamless. Aina describes each scent and its characteristics to help you choose your perfect match.

Fragrance description: An intimate, comforting aroma of apricot skins, sensual musk, and orange flowers.
After years of sitting on the idea of creating a fragrance collection, Aina shared that she and Asamoah are ready to change the state of the fragrance industry.
“As a fragrance lover, I have a sense of what I expect to smell when I shop at a department store,” Aina told Forbes in April 2024. “Designer brands are notorious for creating scents that generally tend to be crowd-pleasing. Because of that, niche brands have taken off in the fine fragrance world specifically because that’s where you can go and get custom-made, bespoke, unique, pushing-the-envelope scents. That’s why FORVR Mood exists.”
You can explore all four fragrances through a discovery set, each sized at 3 ml. Or, if you already have a favorite, all of the scents come in 10 ml and 50 ml sizes. Prices span from $28 to $79.
