“Rebuilding Black Wall Street”

“Rebuilding Black Wall Street” is a documentary made from a collection of home movies discovered by the late Rev. Dr. Harold M. Anderson family. It depicts families who stayed and rebuilt after the Tulsa 1921 Massacre.

The audience will be assisted by volunteers to identify their relatives as they appear on the screen, followed by a power point display of stills.

Producers will follow-up with interviews to be placed in a data base with the North Tulsa Historical Society. The authenticated identification will then be included with the readapted film at the Smithsonian.

For more information call or text 972-468-1611.

Hosted by Women of the Village, LLC and the North Tulsa Black Business Directory with support from the North Tulsa Historical Society and the H.M. Anderson Trust.
